This workshop is spread over two full days and is perfect for confident beginners to get to grips with more complex dressmaking techniques.
This workshop is suitable for someone who has previous experience of setting up a sewing machine and making some simple projects (eg cushions and tote bags etc).
You will be sewing Yanta overalls by designer Helen's Closet. A copy of the pattern is included in the price of the course.
You will learn how to read a dressmaking pattern, measure yourself, learn the importance of pattern placement, insert an invisible zip, buttonholes.
You will need to bring enough fabric and notions as required to make the pattern. Full details will be sent upon confirmation of the booking.
The pattern and use of tools and equipment, including a Janome sewing machine, is included in the course price.
